This program is a response to the call to practice “pure and simple religion and to care for widows and orphaned children in their affliction and need” (James 1:27).
The Mosquito Net Project provides a simple and cost-effective way to save lives by preventing malaria, the number one killer of children and pregnant mothers in Africa. To aid in malaria prevention we are distributing insecticide-treated mosquito bed nets to families in Uganda. For just $10 Integrity Worldwide can purchase and distribute these treated bed nets under which a family of four can sleep. Bed nets create a protective barrier against mosquitoes at night when the highest rate of transmission occurs.
Our goal is to purchase land and buildings in Bundibugyo to provide shelter, food, medical care, and education for orphaned children from Bundibugyo and surrounding areas.
AC meets the children of Bundibugyo.
Children receive mosquito nets.
Up to 5 children can sleep under one net.
